Google Pixel 11 Pro Discounted Ahead of iPhone 18 Pro Launch

Pixel 11 Pro Price Cut Targets i Phone Buyers

Google’s Pixel 11 Pro is currently listed at about $1,007 on Amazon, showcasing fog, olive, and obsidian color choices. The reduced price arrives days before Apple’s i Phone 18 Pro hits stores on Friday, September 18, indicating strategic timing to attract buyers. The price drop follows a brief inventory clearance effort.

Amazon’s listing shows the Pixel 11 Pro priced near $1,007, down from its earlier $1,100 price after a recent $100 increase. This discount arrives just before Apple’s i Phone 18 Pro launch, indicating Google aims to stimulate sales ahead of the flagship competition entering the market.

Is Google Undercutting Apple’s Market Position?

The discount brings the flagship model within reach of budget‑conscious shoppers. Analysts say the move may pressure Apple’s pricing strategy as the i Phone 18 Pro approaches. Consumers are likely to compare features and cost before deciding. Industry observers note that the price cut could increase Pixel market share in the mid‑range segment.

When will the i Phone 18 Pro be available?

Google’s aggressive discount could attract buyers hesitant about Apple’s higher price tag. However, the i Phone 18 Pro offers distinct camera and ecosystem advantages that may still sway premium seekers. If the discount proves effective, Google may gain a larger share of the mid‑tier segment, forcing Apple to reconsider its pricing tiers.

If the Pixel 11 Pro keeps its lower price, Google may see a sales bump before the i Phone launch, while Apple could offer promotions. The market remains competitive as both brands vie for early adopters. Analysts expect the rivalry to intensify, with both companies likely to introduce further incentives to capture consumer attention in the coming months.
