Amazon has launched an early preview of its fall Prime Day sale, offering the AirPods Pro 3 at a reduced price of $179 with free shipping. The deal appeared just weeks after Apple introduced new features to the earbuds, including enhanced noise cancellation and improved battery life. While the official Prime Big Deal Days event is still about 48 hours away, Amazon is beginning promotions early to attract shoppers. This pricing represents one of the lowest points the AirPods Pro 3 have reached since their release.
The discount aligns with Amazon’s strategy to build momentum ahead of its major fall shopping event. By lowering the price on popular Apple accessories like the AirPods Pro 3, the retailer aims to drive early traffic and increase conversion rates. The timing also follows recent software updates that added adaptive audio and conversation awareness to the earbuds, making them more appealing to buyers seeking premium functionality. Analysts note that such pre-event deals help Amazon test demand and adjust inventory before the full sale launches.
Historically, the AirPods Pro 3 have rarely dipped below $189 outside of major holiday sales. The current $179 offer marks a significant reduction, bringing the price closer to levels seen only during Black Friday or back-to-school periods. Amazon’s decision to ship the item free further increases the value, especially for customers outside the continental U. S. who often face added costs. This move suggests Amazon is prioritizing volume over margin in the opening phase of its fall promotion.
It remains uncertain whether the AirPods Pro 3 will see an even lower price during the official Prime Big Deal Days. While Amazon sometimes deepens discounts as the event progresses, flagship products like these often stabilize at their early sale levels. Shoppers hoping for a better deal may want to monitor prices closely, but risk missing out if stock runs low. Retail experts suggest that $179 could be the floor for this generation unless Apple announces a successor soon.
Are the AirPods Pro 3 being sold new or refurbished in this deal? The earbuds are listed as new, unused units with full manufacturer warranty and Amazon’s standard return policy.
Does the $179 price include taxes or only the item cost? The $179 covers the item price only; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.
Is there a limit on how many AirPods Pro 3 one customer can buy? Amazon has not publicly stated purchase limits for this deal, but standard fraud prevention measures may apply to bulk orders.
